Ateneo Aegis 07 / 2007 Showing their Lack of Responsibility: Ateneans of My Batch Please Raise Your Voices

Okay. Now I am furious. First, with the disgusting LiveJournal website where you can’t view any of the topics because of googles ads blocking it. Second, with the promise saying that please wait patiently for more updates (last one was way back on October 2007). And lastly, my request to be added to the yahoogroups was rejected for no reasons.

These are screen shots of me, being an Atenean for 16 years, rejected by people who promote mediocre works.

 

This email told me that based on their background checking, I am not qualified to join the group. Am I not a concerned Atenean wanting to have his yearbook?

Why Ateneo Aegis people? Threatened I’ve been posting articles on giving our batch some updates? Well, I’ve requested in a polite manner. Well, be prepared for more. 

I know lots of Ateneans are frustrated because of the delay, because of the promises being given with no results, because of the lack of responsibility these people they entrusted.

So, what are your reasons? Delay because some students did not submit their testimonials?  You got a lot of time. It’s almost 2 YEARS already. Or is it because you are ashamed for not doing your work properly? Anyway, whatever your reasons or so-called “excuses,  I am sure they are not valid. 

You are such a disgrace to the Ateneo community. 

Anyway, I am calling my fellow Ateneo Batch 2007 to raise their voice and take action. Post this blog to your blogs. Copy this and email to all Ateneo friends. So that these irresponsible Ateneo Aegis People may be informed and the future Ateneo Aegis batch will learn from this.

If it’s any consolation, batch 2006 peeps still don’t have their yearbook as well. :P

hahaha. I just heard that news from a friend of mine. I’m still trying to find people responsible for this. And once I get some updates, I’ll immediately post it.

haha.. have they released our high school yearbook yet? i thought it was recalled or something!!

yup., i received AHS yearbook just last year. But, I was able to wait that long since I know I’ll only be around the campus. But now, it’s a different story

i think you should get in touch w/ paudep. she’s in charge of Comms/PR in aegis. she might have the answers you’re looking for.

hey ray!

it’s ellyn. i truly understand how you feel and i also feel your frustration! the thing is, they keep promising us yet they keep breaking their promises. I also want transparency because i want to see why this is taking forever!

aren’t we supposed to be smart? then why the hell can’t we find a more efficient way of doing this? gah, it happens every year yet there are still no visible improvements.

actually, i’ve posted this to alert our batchmates who have probably forgotten about the pending release of yearbook. also, i posted this to alert the aegis members that there are enraged ateneans waiting for their reply.

currently, i am looking for names who are accountable for our yearbook.

Yes, i agree with you ellyn that this is not the most effective. i believe school intervention is the best way to deal with this problem. but first, i need to get more details, before i can execute my other plans.

If I remember correctly, the editor-in-chief was Jan Bunag of AB Political Science.

You can try following it up over his mobile phone (if he hasn’t changed his number) 09167230372. I say “try” because he’s been M.I.A since graduation.

I really hope we get our yearbooks soon as a lot of our batchmates are already jetting off to other countries, right Pau?

So spanish what happened? wala pa rin? Ang hassle kasi is that the people who handle the project are also students. Sino ba nagsabi sa akin nun. Si Vicente ata (beadle namin ngayon) mas maganda kung ibang tao na lang maghandle diba? Like a pro or something.

no reply… pero i am not really expecting someone will reply. anyway, probably this weekend going to ADSA to let them know what’s happening. if there are no resolutions, i will demand a refund. Ano? Sama ka chris?
