Why I love Naruto?

To those who do not enjoy life by being an anime fanatic, here is a quick overview. Naruto is a ninja who dreams to be a Hokage (leader of the Leaf village called Konoha).

I already stopped watching other good animes such as Fushigi Yuugi, Ranma 1/2, Yu Yu Hakusho, Samurai X, and most importantly Sailormoon ( just kidding). But, I can’t stop watching Naruto movies and Naruto Mangas. With this addiction, I began to think why am I so attached to a Ninja who is a complete idiot. In other words a LOSER. Well, these are my reflections why I am so damned crazy about this anime.

 I am a GENIUS philosophy

No questions asked. Both Naruto and I are naturally inherited the brain of Albert Einstein. With these big brain of ours, so is our ego.

To protect thy loved ones

Naruto is someone who will not leave his friends even when his life is at risk. I am also someone who is always there for my friends and family. I remember one time a BIG kid (you know me as a large person, but this one is humongous) was bullying my little brother. Seeing my brother about to cry, I stood in front of the person gathered all my might until my hands are gleaming with tremendous aura, and punched the bully. I punched so hard that he barely moved. Now, that also supports me as being a genius.

An Unrevealing Maniac

Well, this is no longer true since a revelation has been made. Naruto is shy to express his love or his seductive form to a girl. Same as me. I have desires deep within me that has not been unleashed. Inside me is a monster who will rip any fucking girl I see. But, a barrier stops it from being released fully. Since I am a genius, I can control my hunger towards girls who are not keen enough to my insatiable hunger towards them.

Well, these traits, these philoshies help me relate to the story of Naruto. That is why I like Naruto. Naruto and me are one. Naruto is me. I am Naruto.

Market Share: Is it everything for the business?

September 18, 2008

As we all know, businesses are established for a purpose - to gain profit. If you will think about it, you gain more profit share if you have more customers. The larger, the happier you are, right?

As a Marketing Strategist, what I value is attracting new customers compared to my respective fucking competitors, thus having a larger market share. But there is a drawback. By focusing too much on sales and market share, you forget that there are some other aspects to be considered.

  • Who is your target market?
  • What is your company’s image and positioning?
  • How do you retain loyal customers?

Let me site an example. A local web hosting provider claims to have hosted the most number of domains. This implies that they have the biggest market share in their industry. What is their strategy? To compromise service by offering cheaper prices.

True, they attract clients through pricing, but the question is are their customers satisfied with the service they get? Most of them are hunting down new web host providers. The fools misled by the cheap price were enlightened.

Market Share is NOT everything. The bottom line is your business is created NOT JUST for PROFIT, but also to SATISFY their NEEDS and WANTS. In my opinion, providing a good product or delivering a good service is the best marketing strategy of all.

Importance of Web Content

It’s easy to understand the logic why websites use the inverted pyramid style of writing. But, it is so difficult to implement.

  • Direct to the point: no bull shit stuffs
  • Easy to remember keywords
  • Good for scanning purposes only
  • Use of language depends on target market

Tomorrow, I got to think of ways how to simplify everything. Three things to focus on Simplicity and Effectiveness. It’s really hard to strategize but that’s where the fun starts. Oh well, the irony of life.
