Charlie’s Burger | One the best burgers in town

April 1, 2009

Since my friend and I loves travelling and trying different kinds of stuff particularly food, we got to know this place called Charlie’s Burger in Kapitolyo, Pasig. Charlie’s Burger, as my friend told me, was featured in media because of its tasty and quality products which include Black Angus Burger and Fish & Chips. It is also well known for having a car wash service beside the burger haven, to make customers feel comfortable.

At first, the outside of the venue was a bit uninviting. Yet again, with the saying “Don’t judge a book with its cover”, I was astonished to find it has a relaxing ambience and atmosphere. With pillars serving as dividers, it promotes a certain level of privacy for its customers.

Since it was our first time visiting that place, we took pictures of the things we ordered.

Fish and Fries

Have you tried Fish and Co? Well, Charlie’s Burger’s Fish and Fries is way better than Fish & Co. For the cost of 180 pesos, you get one big piece of fish fillet. It was crunchy and juicy but not oily. The tartar sauce mixed with a bit of lemon is an excellent dip for this mouth-watering dish. For fish lovers, this is a must try.

Black Angus Burger with Fries

For Burger lovers, this is the burger you’ve been waiting for. This can absolutely satisfy for your cravings for burgers. The Black Angus cost around 175 pesos with fries. Topped with Cheddar Cheese, the meat of the burger is extremely delicious without the taste of extenders. Compared to other burgers, this is one is not oily as well. The taste is comparable with Brother’s Burger but at a lower price. And for a big guy like me, I was so full after eating this sinful meal.

With the price, presentation, quality, and venue I give them a rating of 4.5 out of 5. I definitely recommend this place for hang outs or for food trips. Of course, I am a loyalista of Charlie’s burger

INFJ : The Relevance of Personality Test

December 4, 2008

Just yesterday, I was really troubled on who I am, why, and how should I exist? I don’t know why it suddenly popped out of my head. Seeking for answers, I sent a YM message to a friend just to release some of stress I am feeling since she is really very perceptive and understand people’s emotions in an instant. She addressed some questions such as what makes you “you”? What are your comfort zones? What makes you happy?

Those questions made me recall my life experiences. It was like I was in a vacuum where I was sucked in a world of the past where past events, people, scenarios became so real for me. And finally I found my answer. My vision, my goal, my happiness is having a complete family. I think that dream is simple, but in my case it is really complicated.

She told me that by knowing and understanding myself better, that will relieve the weight of the burden I am feeling inside. Then she said that she was an ISFJ. Hearing that acronym for the first time in my life. I honestly told her what is that? What does it mean? It is her personality ISFJ: Introvert Sensing Feeling Judgment. Then she asked me? What’s yours?

Okay. I am quite bias about this kind of stuff because I believe that these kind of topics are pretty girlish for me. So, I frankly told her I don’t know since those things did not interest nor concern me. By expalining to me that taking the personality on the net, you will understand why you act in such a way where you can’t even explain why you acted that way.

It was lunch time, I decided to take on the test. I took it seriously as if I am trying to recall instances so that my answers have basis. The result is I am an INFJ: Introvert Intuition Feeling Judging.

I am a kind of person who treasures personal values, long time relationships, peace loving, enjoys being alone at certain points, loves contemplating about things, wants to be included to have a change, who finds happiness in the simplest things such as making someone smile, very secretive unless I trust you so much, loves to hang out in small groups of people, the rarest kind of all personalities around 1% of the total world population.

Reading the descriptions of INFJ in terms of career and love relationships, I saw the exact copy of “me”. This made me realize by understanding yourself, you will not feel awkward, lost in space.

Now, the burden is slowly diminishing because I have found light, even though it is still dim.

Pomegranate Phone: Mobile Phone Technology Advancement or Just A Plain Joke?

December 3, 2008

I was looking for the latest gadgets and technology to make a comment and criticize its product features. When I saw this mobile phone, I was full with awe yet also had tons of laughter. Guess what I found? A very very weird phone.

Visit pomegranatephone.com or click HERE. Beware, you need high speed connection just to view this web page.

Well, I really can’t say if advanced technology is really beneficial with this kind of product. Pomegranate phone that is.

Well, she asked her circle of friends, Chinese and non-Chinese, composed of cute guys and hot girls to man her booth. And I am really FLATTERED that I am included in that list.

Well, it’s been quite a while since I have social life since I am so busy creating business plans, marketing plans, developing website contents and other stuffs. Now is the right time for me to mingle with her circle of friends and hope that I get to know some cuties.

Come mingle with us. Enjoy the ambience of the well-known social haven Tiendesitas and enjoy more with her desserts. Who knows? Probably, you will find your dream partner there and your Christmas will not be shaded with the color of BLUE.

Burger Avenue: I invaded the Ridiculous Challenge

I went to Burger Avenue in Makati Avenue last Saturday with a friend of mine. She told that me she really wanted to try the burger and compete with me in the Ridiculous challenge. All right, sounds like bonding time for the two of us.

I fetched her at the RCBC Plaza first before going to Burger Avenue. Boy, she’s stunning than ever. On our way to the burger haven,  we talked about the food business and our contacts. By the way, my friend is the owner of Evert’s Desserts and she’s offering scrumptious desserts that range from cakes, revel bars, and her favorite polvoron. Ohhh, and being a 75% Chinese, I learned that she has lots of contacts when it comes to suppliers of siomai and noodles. We also discussed how we can apply our experience in Singapore in the Philippines.

Anyway, we arrived there around noon. A venue Mall is such a small place, but with its exclusivity and restaurants in it, I think it’s a good place to hang out with someone special, friends or couples. I ordered the Ridiculous challenge solo thinking that probably she’s just joking around that she’ll order that 3 large patty burger in the Ridiculous Challenge. Yet, she still ordered the big one. I was not the only one surprised. Even the crew in Burger Avenue taking our order was astonished. I noticed it because there was a sudden change of the crew’s voice.

We sat at a corner of the restaurant and waited for around 15 to 20 minutes for our burger. Then, the challenge came. The crew reached us two super sized burgers. I think the size of two BIG MAC from Mcdonalds or two WHOPPER from Burger King.

I finished it within 3 minutes. Hahahaha. I was asking if I can compete with another challenge. They said that I have to pay for the second round. Too bad, my friend finished it around 7 minutes. After that, I got my refund of 255 pesos. And got a picture so that they can post in their store and Facebook. I have not yet been added to their Facebook account but as soon as I found my picture, I’ll post it in this blog.

I really can’t describe its taste because I was literally chewing and swallowing it to make the mark. Still, what I love about the burger is its thick, meaty, and juicy patties.  And if you really want to be full this is the place to go. That burger was my lunch and dinner. And since Burger Avenue is still gaining popularity, their service is great. Great Food. Great Service.

If I am going to rate this burger. I think this is the 4th best. My top 5 ranking for burgers arranged in order are Picky Eaters, Bite Club, Burger King, Brothers Burger, and Mcdonald’s.

It was a wonderful day for me having someone to spend time with me in one of my food trip. Next target is Pizza Niro.

November 28, 2008

Okay. I was searching for any eating contest in the Philippines until I heard about Burger Avenue’s Ridiculous challenge. It’s around 200 pesos but the burger, as they say, is really big. I already won some eating contests not long ago. Maybe I’ll do it again. I’ll try by not eating just one extra large burger, but two hahahaha.

Anyway for those interested it is located along Makati Avenue at A Venue Mall. This is a test for my munching power. Hahaha

Here is the complete address of Burger Avenue

Blogs Under Construction

November 27, 2008

Since I am so excited that I am already gearing up to be a mixture of  Entrepreneur in the Food Industry and a Netrepreneur, I am building up other websites that provide relevant information in various topics. The websites are still under construction since I am so busy preparing other things.

Still, I am going to give an overview.

1. Singapore

One of places that I will travel frequently is Singapore. Why? Because I think, their lifestyle fits my lifestlye. I will provide information on vacation spots in Singapore and how to work there if you want. I have working experience in Singapore that is why I wanted to create a guideline on surviving and working there.

2. Ateneo Survival Kit

I will not waste my credentials for being an Atenean for 16 years. I will provide techniques in surviving hell weeks in Ateneo, picking the right course, the right teachers as well, and of course surviving the JGSOM Management courses.

3. Investments

Supposedly, I should be using this to increase my ranking in the BUSBY SEO contest. But, I realized that competition is so aggressive, I don’t have much time updating and strategizing SEO techniques. This time I wanted to help entrepreneurs with a capital of at least 20,000 pesos where to invest their money.

I will just post in my blog when it is completed.

BUSBY SEO Test Headlines: Philippine banks bad loan ratio increase

November 26, 2008

I was reading news with regards to our economy. And this is a frightening one.

Issue

Bad loans held by the Philippines’ largest banks rose slightly in September to 4.04 percent from a month earlier as lending activity slowed, the central bank said Tuesday.

The non-performing loans (NPL) ratio of universal and commercial banks was up 0.14 percent from the previous month’s 3.90 percent ratio but was 1.15 percent below the level of 12 months ago, a central bank statement said.

Non-performing loans rose 2.54 percent from the previous month to 94 billion pesos (1.9 billion dollars) while their total loan portfolio fell 0.96 percent to 2.33 trillion pesos owing to lower interbank loans (IBL) and reverse repurchase transactions, it added.

Universal and commercial banks are licensed by the Philippine central bank to engage in related financial services including insurance and investment banking.

Analysis

This is bad news for us. Before, I was under the Marketing Department of Bank of the Philippine Islands and based on my experience this will affect the interest rates offered by banks. How? Because of bad loans, banks are forced to increase the interest rates to shoulder these losses.

In the part of consumers, this will be a burden. This means that you will need to pay a higher monthly amortization for your loan.

In the part of the bank employees, it will be difficult to reach target sales/ quota since higher interest means fewer clients.

In any case, this is a lose-lose situation.

DoTa 6.58 Map

November 25, 2008

DoTa 6.58 Map Beta has been RELEASED.

 Download 6.58 Map Beta

Again and again, I tried to quit playing DoTa (Defense of the Ancients) but it is really so addicting. Every night after work, I log-in to my GARENA account and fight other Philippine based players online. Night time is the time for me to unleash all the stress from work by killing other characters.

Anyway, I am looking forward to the release of DoTa 6.58 Map and DoTa 6.58 with Ai map. Again just like what I did in DoTa 6.56 AI and Fight of Characters, I am going to post when I already downloaded it. Just email me if you want a copy.

By the way if you have a Garena account (formerly GG client), you can add me. My account name is Mambo101. I love playing with strength type heroes such as Tide Hunter, Skeleton King, and Barathrum. But if I just want to play as support for my team, I play with Ogre Magi, Lion, and Goblin Techies. For my agility Heroes, I love Lightning Revenant, Troll Warlord, and the one with Chronosphere.

Life in Singapore

This is my experience when I travelled Singapore alone. I just cherish those 3 months staying in Singapore exploring vacation spots, wandering in different places, adapting to their culture (also adapting to the way they speak SInglish). Next year, I’ll travel alone again and see what new adventure awaits for me. Waliao weh! Hahahaha

Life in Singapore is splendid. Still, there’s no place like home. I just find it really difficult to adapt to a place I’m still not familiar with.

Weather

Weather is just like in the Philippines. Hot, Perspiring. However, sometimes there are thunderstorms that occur. You can see a lightning strike low even if you are located at the second floor condominium. There are plenty of deaths related to lightning.

Language

The language here is commonly called Singlish or a mixture of Singaporean-English. I first encountered this language when I spoke to a stewardess at the Singapore airlines. At first, it was hard to understand their language because it has a different accent. For me, Singlish’s accent sounds like a mixture British and Chinese accent. Yet, since I live with my cousins who grew in Singapore I am slowly adapting to their accent. Maybe, I stay longer I will forget how to speak like an American. hahaha

Transportation

The means of transportation in Singapore is mostly through bus, MRT, and LRT. One use a prepaid card that can be used through these means of transportation. using these modes of transportation will cut your cost compared to taking a cab. I spent 25 dollars from airport to my aunt’s condominium. And it was only a twenty minute drive! Also, there are no tricycles nor jeepneys, which will force you to walk around 10-15 minutes get to a bus or MRT station.

Food

Food in Singapore are quite expensive when you’re dining in fast food establishments. But there are places where you can find chinese cusine at low prices ranging from 2-4 dollars. They are called ”hawkers” which resemble small ”carinderias” or “turu-turo”. Just yesterday, I ate fried duck with vegetables at 3.20 dollars. Well all I can say is sulit na siya for that price.

People

Most people are chinese, korean look. It was just like strolling at the Ateneo campus. But there are also Malaysians and Indians who smell really bad. Probably their scent came from the kind of food they are eating. I once tried eating an Indian dish. When I smelled the dish, I notice there is only a slight difference with the aroma and their scent being emitted from their bodies. But, personally for Indians that kind of smell is pleasant for them. Probably, it really depends on where you grew up and the kind of culture that has been manifested to you by the society.

My Learnings in the World of Business

November 24, 2008

This is my passion. Business. I had a business before catering customizable burgers. It was named “Picky Eaters”. One of the most successfully student owned stalls in Ateneo when JSEC was established. Having hands-on experience with business, forecasting the demand, creating prices, researching about your target market’s demographics - all of these things I learned. However, I also learned more things that the school did not teach me. In this post, I will discuss my experience as an entrepreneur.

Break-Even Point Analysis

Yes, business is all about numbers. Math is my forte. This is the reason why I am assigned as the Chief Financial Officer of Picky Eaters. Break-even point analysis gives you an idea on how many items to sell so that your business will not render losses.

But, it does not mean that you hate Math or Math hates you, then you can’t establish your business. One way to find out whether or not you are profiting is to look at your inventory and expenses.

Are you able to fill-up your required inventory? Are you able to pay rent on time? Do you have budget to pay for your employees? If your answer is yes, check if you have remaining money from your business’ cash box. If again, the answer is there is remaining money, the remaining money = your profit. It means you exceeded the “break-even point”

The Perfect System, Operations Management

In my Operations Management class, I was taught that time is gold and organization matters the most. Indeed, you can obtain data on how efficient you deliver your business to your clients by having an idea on the operation’s time. Do you think you can prepare the “Perfect System” for your business if you do not have adequate experience on it?

By having my own business, I learned that there should be continuous innovation, meaning you keep on changing until you reach the optimum efficiency for your business. These are not learned from just class lessons or from reading textbooks. These are only learned from actual experiences. By the way, I believe that the is NO PERFECT SYSTEM, but there will always be A BETTER SYSTEM.

The Best Marketing, Viral Marketing

Viral Marketing is also associated with “Word of Mouth Marketing’ meaning you let people inform about your business and the products it offers through conversations. One of the major factor why I think our business hit HALF a MILLION in four months of operation is that we have a large network of friends.

These friends of our, also have a large network, making our business easier to become the topic of gossips. This is the most effective marketing since it can boost your sales. But always remember, still the satisfaction of customers from the quality of products you deliver is the most important.

These are my learnings as an Entrepreneur and taking Business Management MInor in Marketing classes. Ateneo molded me that my career should be directed to become a businessman.

Ateneo Aegis 07 / 2007 Updates

To follow-up on my previos post (read HERE) with regards to the irresponsibility of Ateneo Aegis 2007 members, I received some replies from concerned alumni. Also, I was able to encourage them to post it on their blog to inform Ateneo Alumni what had happened.

I already got some names of those who handled the Ateneo Aegis 2007 Yearbook. I sent them a message via blog and emails, however, there was no reply.

If this cannot be done, I will go to the ADSA and claim a refund since it is a 2,250 pesos Yearbook. If they will not allow me to claim a refund, then by any case, I will demand them to find a solution to handle this problem.

Why Chocolate is Better than Sex

November 20, 2008

While I was winding up, having my chillax moment, I accidentally scrolled this post. It just keeps me laughing. Here are the reasons.

1. With chocolate, size doesn’t matter; it’s always good.

2. When you have chocolate, it does not keep your neighbors awake.

3. You are never too young or too old for chocolate.4. You can have as many kinds of chocolate as you can handle.
5. Good chocolate is easy to find.
6. You can have chocolate at any time and anywhere.
7. You can have chocolate at any time of the month.
8. Chocolate doesn’t make you pregnant.
9. With chocolate there’s no need to fake it.
10. You don’t get hairs in your mouth with chocolate.
11. You can ask a stranger for chocolate without getting your face slapped.
12. You can have chocolate on top of your desk during working hours without upsetting your coworkers.
13. The word “commitment” doesn’t scare off chocolate.
14. You can safely have chocolate while you are driving.
15. Chocolate satisfies even when its gone soft.
16. “If you love me you’ll swallow that” has real meaning with chocolate.
17. You can get chocolate.
18. Two people of the same sex can have chocolate without being called nasty names.
19. If you bite the nuts too hard the chocolate won’t mind.
20. You can have chocolate in front of your mother.

Hahahaha. Well, for me they are the same. Both of them complete me. Hahahahaha

God’s Existence: A Philosophical Conversation and Point of View

November 19, 2008
INTERESTING  CONVERSATION

An Atheist Professor of Philosophy speaks to his Class on the Problem Science has with GOD, the ALMIGHTY.
He asks one of his New Christian Students to stand and . . .

Professor :
You are a Christian, aren’t you, son ?
Student :
Yes, sir.
Professor :
So you Believe in GOD ?
Student :
Absolutely, sir.
Professor :
Is GOD Good ?
Student :
Sure.
Professor :
Is GOD ALL - POWERFUL ?
Student :
Yes.
Professor :
My Brother died of Cancer even though he Prayed to GOD to Heal him.
Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill.
But GOD didn’t.
How is this GOD good then? Hmm?

( Student is silent )

Professor : You can’t answer, can you ?
Let’s start again, Young Fella.
Is GOD Good?
Student :
Yes.
Professor :
Is Satan good ?
Student :
No.
Professor :
Where does Satan come from ?
Student :
From . . . GOD . . .
Professor :
That’s right.
Tell me son, is there evil in this World?
Student :
Yes.
Professor :
Evil is everywhere, isn’t it ?
And GOD did make everything. Correct?
Student :
Yes.
Professor :
So who created evil ?

(Student does not answer)

Professor :
Is there Sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness?
All these terrible things exist in the World, don’t they?
Student :
Yes, sir..
Professor :
So, who Created them ?
( Student has no answer )
Professor : Science says you have 5 Senses you use to Identify and Observe the World around you.
Tell me, son . . . Have you ever Seen GOD?
Student :
No, sir.
Professor :
Tell us if you have ever Heard your GOD?
Student :
No , sir.
Professor :
Have you ever Felt your GOD, Tasted your GOD, Smelt your GOD?
Have you ever had any Sensory Perception of GOD for that matter?
Student :
No, sir. I’m afraid I haven’t.
Professor :
Yet you still Believe in HIM?
Student : Yes.
Professor :
According to Empirical, Testable, Demonstrable Protocol, Science says your GOD doesn’t exist.
What do you say to that, son?
Student :
Nothing. I only have my Faith.
Professor :
Yes, Faith. And that is the Problem Science has.
Student :
Professor, is there such a thing as Heat?
Professor :
Yes.
Student :
And is there such a thing as Cold?
Professor :
Yes.
Student :
No sir. There isn’t.

( The Lecture Theatre becomes very quiet with this turn of events )

Student :
Sir, you can have Lots of Heat, even More Heat, Superheat, Mega Heat, White Heat,
a Little Heat or No Heat.
But we don’t have anything called Cold.
We can hit 458 Degrees below Zero which is No Heat, but we can’t go any further after that.
There is no such thing as Cold.
Cold is only a Word we use to describe the Absence of Heat.
We cannot Measure Cold.
Heat is Energy.
Cold is Not the Opposite of Heat, sir, just the Absence of it.

( There is Pin - Drop Silence in the Lecture Theatre )

Student : What about Darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as Darkness?
Professor :
Yes. What is Night if there isn’t Darkness?
Student :
You’re wrong again, sir.
Darkness is the Absence of Something
You can have Low Light, Normal Light, Bright Light, Flashing Light . . .
But if you have No Light constantly, you have nothing and its called Darkness, isn’t it?
In reality, Darkness isn’t.
If it is, were you would be able to make Darkness Darker, wouldn’t you?
Professor :
So what is the point you are making, Young Man ?
Student :
Sir, my point is your Philosophical Premise is flawed.
Professor :
Flawed ? Can you explain how?
Student :
Sir, you are working on the Premise of Duality.
You argue there is Life and then there is Death, a Good GOD and a Bad GOD.
You are viewing the Concept of GOD as something finite, something we can measure.
Sir, Science can’t even explain a Thought.
It uses Electricity and Magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one.
To view Death as the Opposite of Life is to be ignorant of the fact that
Death cannot exist as a Substantive Thing.
Death is Not the Opposite of Life: just the Absence of it.
Now tell me, Professor, do you teach your Students that they evolved from a Monkey?
Professor :
If you are referring to the Natural Evolutionary Process, yes, of course, I do.
Student :
Have you ever observed Evolution with your own eyes, sir?

( The Professor shakes his head with a Smile, beginning to realize where the Argument is going )

Student :
Since no one has ever observed the Process of Evolution at work and
Cannot even prove that this Process is an On - Going Endeavor,
Are you not teaching your Opinion, sir?
Are you not a Scientist but a Preacher?

( The Class is in Uproar )

Student :
Is there anyone in the Class who has ever seen the Professor’s Brain?

( The Class breaks out into Laughter )

Student :
Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor’s Brain, Felt it, touched or Smelt it? . . .
No one appears to have done so.
So, according to the Established Rules of Empirical, Stable, Demonstrable Protocol, Science says that
You have No Brain, sir.
With all due respect, sir, how do we then Trust your Lectures, sir?

(The Room is Silent. The Professor stares at the Student, his face unfathomable)

Professor :
I guess you’ll have to take them on Faith, son.
Student :
That is it sir . . .
The Link between Man & GOD is FAITH.
That is all that Keeps Things Moving & Alive.

Ateneo Aegis 07 / 2007 Showing their Lack of Responsibility: Ateneans of My Batch Please Raise Your Voices

November 18, 2008

Okay. Now I am furious. First, with the disgusting LiveJournal website where you can’t view any of the topics because of googles ads blocking it. Second, with the promise saying that please wait patiently for more updates (last one was way back on October 2007). And lastly, my request to be added to the yahoogroups was rejected for no reasons.

Look at the copy of their site: Click HERE

These are screen shots of me, being an Atenean for 16 years, rejected by people who promote mediocre works.

This email told me that based on their background checking, I am not qualified to join the group. Am I not a concerned Atenean wanting to have his yearbook?

Why Ateneo Aegis people? Threatened I’ve been posting articles on giving our batch some updates? Well, I’ve requested in a polite manner. Well, be prepared for more.

I know lots of Ateneans are frustrated because of the delay, because of the promises being given with no results, because of the lack of responsibility these people they entrusted.

So, what are your reasons? Delay because some students did not submit their testimonials?  You got a lot of time. It’s almost 2 YEARS already. Or is it because you are ashamed for not doing your work properly? Anyway, whatever your reasons or so-called “excuses,  I am sure they are not valid.

You are such a disgrace to the Ateneo community.

Anyway, I am calling my fellow Ateneo Batch 2007 to raise their voice and take action. Post this blog to your blogs. Copy this and email to all Ateneo friends. So that these irresponsible Ateneo Aegis People may be informed and the future Ateneo Aegis batch will learn from this.

Craving for something Big - Pizza Niro and Burger Avenue

I’ve been on a diet for months. And already lost more than 20 pounds. Right now, I’ve been craving for something BIG. Before, I can really eat a lot.

There was this eating contest way back in Ateneo High School. I was the grand champion eating 23 hotdogs in 1 min 30 seconds. I think that is still the record of Hotdog eating contest in AHS because I heard the nearest time was 2 minutes flat.

I also tried eating with Kenny Rogers Eat-All-You can Chicken. It was a challenge for me and my barkada. I finished with 16 pieces of chicken breast while my other barkada finished with 15 pieces. Sixteen of us were in double digits. We estimated how much losses Kenny Rogers incurred that day. It was around two thousand pesos. Hahaha. Now that’s what I call feast. After that, Kenny Rogers never again held Eat-All-You can promo.

Now, I’ve been craving for a BIG pizza or a BIG burger. Then, I heard about this pizza - Pizza Niro that they serve 30 inch pizzas. Now, that is what I call BIGGG.

I researched about this one where I can find the nearest branch. It is located in Makati near where I worked before. Hahahaha.

With regards to burger I found this one. This is from Burger Avenue also located in Makati Avenue. Wow, it was like what we serve before in our store. But, BIGGER, I sure hope this taste better. But, what I really like about this one is that they have a 5-minute contest.

Eat this for 5 minutes and they’ll make it free of charge. Yeah, that’s right. It’s around 200 buck. So for heavy eaters, these are the foods to go. So, who wants to go food trippin’ with me. Hahaha

Brock Lesnar won over Randy Couture

November 17, 2008

I’ve already foreseen. Though Randy Couture is by far more experienced in grappling and UFC fighting, Brock Lesnar on the other hand is adapting at the style of fighting at a really fast pace. With his gargantuan body particularly his arms, Brock Lesnar used his brute to maul Randy Coutures face.

The legend is down. A new soon-to-be legend arises. For the full-story please click HERE

Internet Marketing Philippines: Earn Money while Searching

November 14, 2008

I was looking about SEO stuffs then suddenly I got into a website, saying that you earn money as long you use their search engine. At first, I thought it was another baloney, but there’s no risk of trying since it’s ABSOLUTELY FREE. Here is the link:

It’s no different from using Yahoo search engine since they also use Yahoo! But, by using this as your homepage and use to search, you earn money. I just started using this yesterday just to test whether it works. I just worked on it around 15-30 minutes then the next day, I already earned some UK mullahs. By the way, they can pay via paypal or send checks.

Revealing Some SEO Misconceptions

ISSUE

SEO or Search Engine Optimization is gaining popularity in Internet/ Web Marketing industry. Through this, more and more businesses are applying SEO techniques to have a competitive advantage when it comes to page rankings and search engines. However, some people take advantage of this by making misconceptions about SEO.

MISCONCEPTIONS

1. Submission Program Software is the Key to have advantage

Believe m, they don’t actually work. You pay a huge amount of money hoping that everything will be automatic. However, search engines are dynamic. They keep on updating files even the best software cannot detect. The best SEO is still someone who has expertise on it. And the good news at a lower price.

2.  Traffic only Increases not the Quality of the traffic because of SEO

This is untrue. If you are using SEO strategies of course you are targeting your potential clients. Why would you post something in the net without thinking the risks and potentials of generating revenue?

3. Top Rank Listing is the way to go to the top

As I said, search engines are dynamic programs. They keep on changing that is why you must not be stuck on one SEO tool. If you really want to increase your pageranking, you must have more quality backlinks.

4. SEO doesn’t generate a good Return of Investment

If this is true, how come more and more people are using it. And how come more and more people are getting interested in it? Because thw world is changing, and one of the most profit generating things is utilizing the power of the Internet.

CONCLUSION

Before other people take advantage of your money, better research first if the results are real. Also, you must understand basic SEO first before anything else. Money is what most people crave for that is why you must be careful on what and where to invest it.
